MetarPath does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app does not require an account, does not use analytics or tracking tools, and does not access device location.

Routes you save are stored locally on your device only and are never sent to any server. The only network requests MetarPath makes are to the public FAA Aviation Weather Center API, to retrieve METAR and TAF weather data for the airports you enter.

What areas does MetarPath cover?

MetarPath uses the FAA Aviation Weather Center API, so weather data is available for airports in the United States and Canada.

Why don't I see any stations for my route?

Not every airport has an automated weather reporting station (AWOS/ASOS). If a station along your route doesn't report METAR/TAF data, it won't appear in results.

Is MetarPath a certified flight planning tool?

No. MetarPath is for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for an official weather briefing. Always obtain a complete, official briefing before any flight.
